LONDON — Much-loved British author Terry Pratchett died Thursday, leaving a canon of great books behind.
One of Britain’s most successful authors, he wrote more than 70 books, and continued to write even after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2007

Many of Pratchett’s books were based on an imaginary disc-shaped world carried on the back of four elephants, which themselves stood on the shell of a giant turtle (sex unknown).
